Aluminum-zinc coated coils
There are unique smooth, flat and magnificent stars on the surface of aluminized zinc steel plates. The primary color is silver. The special coating structure gives it excellent corrosion resistance. The normal service life of the aluminum-zinc plate is up to 25a, with good heat resistance, and can be used for the high temperature ambient at 315°C. The coating has good adhesion to the paint film and good processability. It can be used for stamping, shearing, welding, etc. The surface conductivity is very good.
The plating composition consists of 55% aluminum, 43.4% zinc and 1.6% silicon. The production process of aluminized zinc is similar to that of galvanized steel and aluminized plates, i.e., the continuous melting plating process. The aluminum-zinc-coated steel sheet with a 55% aluminum-zinc alloy coating has superior corrosion resistance when exposed to the same environment on both sides as compared to a zinc-coated steel sheet of the same thickness. The aluminum-zinc-coated steel sheet with a 55% aluminum-zinc alloy coating not only has good corrosion resistance but also excellent adhesion and flexibility.
